The structure of a Kundalini Yoga class is bookended with the opening Adi Mantra and closing as we sing The Long Time Sun. With the pranayama breath work and opportunities to witness your mental and emotional state, we are guided throughout the process to lower our stress level. I generally close with a 7-10 minute shavasana which further accesses the parasympathetic nervous system which allows you to relax even more deeply.

Follow my instruction cues and always listen to your own body first. I may have worked this kriya many times and can go deeper in the asanas. This may be your first time. Let your body guide you.

And if you are on your Moon/Menstrual cycle or pregnant please substitute any held breath with long-deep breathing.
